Songye Water Pot
Stunningly crafted, thin-walled vessel with a graduated neck decorated with a rippled texture. A band of more intricate incising circumnavigates the base of the neck while a series of arched motifs circle the shoulder. The rich, black, glossy patina is from decades of use. Ex collection Jack Faxon.
