Trapezoidal Gogo Kalimba

Well used box-type Gogo kalimba made from six thin pieces of wood assembled together with a hollow space that acts as a resonator. The hole in the front of the kalimba allows vibrating air to escape. This instrument with a trapezoidal shape also features engraved decorations on the face and small tin buzzers on the tines. Like many musical instruments with beautiful patinas, it also has a beautiful sound, demonstrating that it was often played and greatly enjoyed.
