Tikar Knife and Scabbard
Paul Gebauer collected a nearly identical sword near Ngambe, in a Tikar region of the Cameroon Grasslands in 1934. He wrote that it had “served as an executioner’s knife in feudal society.”A magnificent and unusual weapon”; bamboo hide and steel.
